Sam’s BBQ

Fans of Sam’s BBQ are wondering when the Taylor family will re-open its longtime restaurant. They closed the eatery at Shaw and Marks avenues at the end of July, Martha Taylor says. But their deal to launch in a smaller space fell through, so the family is hunting for a new home.

The Shaw and Marks location was just too big, and the family had to charge its customers more to cover costs. She says the new eatery will be much smaller, with a few seats and a takeout window. Catering will continue to be a mainstay.
