Scholarship Internships Available

The Kenneth L. Maddy Institute is currently accepting applications for its prestigious Intern Scholar Program.The Spring semester program will place Fresno State students in the office of either a Federal or State Legislative Member. Fresno State students may also apply for the Summer program which will send students to either a federal congressional office in Washington DC or a state legislator’s office in Sacramento for the summer. The program pays varying levels of scholarships depending on the location of the internship. Students who work in a Fresno legislative office are offered a $1,000 scholarship, while those who travel to legislative offices in Hanford , Visalia or Merced are awarded a $1,500 scholarship. Students who are placed in Sacramento and DC legislative office can earn anywhere between $4,000 to $5,000.

 

The program is open to all majors. The deadline to apply for the Spring and Summer Legislative Intern Scholarships is November 30th.
